  Not normally one to make reviews, but I cannot express how disappointed I am with the store and would NEVER consider revisiting.
  I left my wedding ring in the store to be cleaned and polish to only loose a diamond within 24 hours. On reporting this to the shop, I was told a couldn't have a replacement diamond and will have to learn to live with the gap. Not happy, I called the manufacturer who confirmed that was untrue. If a diamond was there to start with, a diamond can be there again. I reported this back to the shop and asked for Mr Wood to call me. I received a phone call back (after chasing) on the 7th July in the morning (check your phone records) to apologise and confirm they would pay for a diamond.
  On the morning of travelling to Newcastle to drop my ring at the manufacturers, I found the diamond on my bathroom floor. 6 weeks later and a 2nd trip to Newcastle, I have my ring back and it's perfect. Following on from my call, I went back into the shop with my receipt for the cost and also asked if the original £25 to pay for my rings to be cleaned could be refunded as a gesture for the 2 trips to Newcastle. 2 weeks after and 3 calls into the shop later, Mr Wood decided to call me back and deny any conversation with me. I suspect there is 2 Mr Woods. Reluctantly he agreed to refund all costs via a bank transfer. The next day, I checked and ask myself, did I get the full money I asked for......nope, just the £25.
  I've never been so disappointed. You want to support the local high street shops, but not after this. I wouldn't want anyone to experience the service I "didn't" receive.
